Structural Design of “Additional Wards” Building – Hayatabad Medical Complex

The Additional Wards building at Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility designed to expand the hospital’s capacity and improve patient care. The building comprises 1 basement, a ground floor, and 8 upper floors, making a total of 10 stories.

Our team provided the complete structural design, ensuring the facility meets the highest standards of safety, durability, and functionality required for a modern medical institution. The design incorporated advanced load analysis, seismic resistance measures, and efficient structural layouts to support specialized hospital equipment, patient wards, and service areas.

Commissioned by Design Management Consultants (DMC), the project required close coordination with healthcare planners, architects, and engineers to ensure that the structural framework complemented the hospital’s functional needs. Special consideration was given to vibration control, accessibility compliance, and designing flexible spaces that can adapt to future technological and medical advancements.
