Structural Design of “AK Plaza”

Situated near Charsadda Chowk, Mardan, AK Plaza is a modern commercial development designed to offer both functionality and visual appeal. The structure comprises 1 basement, a lower ground floor, a ground floor, and 4 upper floors, making it a total of 7 stories.

Our team was entrusted with the complete structural design, ensuring the building is engineered for strength, stability, and long-term durability. The design process included comprehensive load analysis, seismic resistance measures, and the selection of high-quality materials to meet the demands of commercial usage. Special attention was given to optimizing column placement, slab thickness, and structural layout to maximize usable space for retail and business operations.

Commissioned by Dr. Tasfeen Khan, the project required close collaboration with all stakeholders to align the structural framework with the overall architectural vision. Every detail was developed to comply with local and international building standards, while also providing flexibility for future adaptations.
